Three Matches, Three Shows, Two Wins, Two States, One Title

Bit of a late update but I will try and give a fir bit of detail on this one this time around.

It was the best of times, it was the blorst of times.

Hope you've all had a good week. Mine started with an RDO on the Monday which led to an exciting day of clothes washing and house cleaning for an expection we had the next day. Not too sure why they inspected our house after two months but Im guessing its because our real estate agents are total utter dogheads. There's no other reasonable explanation.

Wednesday saw me try and hook my friend Nate up but it ended up turning into me getting a massive shag-a-thon and him hanging out rather awkwardly with another chick. I had a kick ass time though. We laughed how funny it would be if Aussie wrestling were more profile and we had paparazzi taking photos of us going into the hotel and how seedy we are lol. Nate claims it would be Flash taking the pics. I gotta think so as well lol.

The week rolled on to Friday which saw us wrestling out in Gatton. I got put up against Cruz in what most called match of the night. There was a tiny crowd on hand so it was hrd to get any reaction out of them. We had quite a fine match, I even hit a seated dropkick off the ring apron to the floor, which I should start using more often. Cruz ended up scoring the win after a slasher. In this match I copped quite the black eye but as the weekend went on, I saw one quite alot blacker than mine. After the show we went to Mick's, he was sleeping rather handsomely so we woke him up. We then got New York Pizza and I got Danger very cut my teasing his white trash shirt. It was so ghetto. We also saw police giving out tickets for J walking at the top of Brunswick St Mall. Good to see they have fuck all to do with their time and can stand around handing out tickets for not crossing the road properly. Im sure someone got bashed, raped, stabbed and left to die in the valley somewhere that night but hey, at least people crossed the road properly!

Saturday rolled around like it always does, after Friday and I sat around worrying about my eye and the rest of the weekend. On the show I wrestled Checkers for the MIW Cruiserweight Title. I will give Checkers alot of credit, he showed he is a tough little bastard after that match after he was knocked cold three times and still finished the match. I attacked his back and ended up winning the match with a killer angle boston crab after he passed out. So for a fourth time, I am the MIW Cruiserweight Champion. After the show I had to race home and get some sleep, but it turned out to be more than I was meant to have........

My flight to Sydney to wrestle for UWA was scheduled to depart at 6.20am but my stupid ass phone alarm didnt go off and I woke up at 5.50am, so I had completely missed check in. I had to pay an extra $70 to get another flight at 10am. Hanging around Coolangatta Airport for three hours is boring shit. I ended up getting to Sydney at around 12.30 Sydney time and basically went straight to the venue. I had a match against UWA cruiserweight H8rd. I also had The Studly One himself Mark Williamson in my corner as manager for the night. I hit my high impact backbreakers on the hood rat and ended up scoring the win with the millenium driver. I flew back to Coolangatta that night and was tired and sore as all hell by the time I finally got to bed and slept.

It has been quite an interesting weekend to say the least, as I sit here, reflecting on it all as I prey for the wether to clear up so I can do washing.

Cant wait till Claire's 18 so I can marry her and she can do all my washing for me! Ha Ha (insider joke, if you dont get it, just ignore that).

Anyways,
increase the peace on the streets and I will see you all Saturday for a night of doghead smashing once again.

Mason Childs

Hello everyone,

I know I missed an update last week but it has been a very busy week so forgive me.

Hope you have all been well.

Lets start back to last week's TLC Match. To me, it wasnt on the level of the Cruz/Obie vs Me/Sweet Ass match but it was still a crazy match. I managed to hit a rope walk top rope double stomp onto Seoul on a ladder which was probably the personal highlight for me in the match. I ended up scoring the win after a double stomp off the ladder onto Seoul.

Sunday saw another battle of epic proportions. It was Team Red Hat Mick vs Team Blue Cap Danger in backyard cricket. I ended up batting for Mick's team. I did ok but our team got flogged. Danger got mad drunk and we ended up in getting into some very personal sledging, good times. Danger ended up passing out on my chair for a few hours. I thought he was dead.

The rest of the week I spent working and doing heaps of overtime. Most of the week I worked with Kyote's step dad who is a really cool guy.

Friday night was spent at Coolum at my friend Dom Burns' 21st birthday. I got absolutely shit faced. I ended up making peace with old mates Viking and Starr, which Im glad I did.

Last night we did a show where the crowd got to choose the matches via random ticket draw. I was first chosen and wrestled Obie. It was a fairly short and uneventful match. I worked his arm for a bit then he smashed me with rolling german suplexes. It did take him two jackhammers to finish me off though. I would like to thank one of my best friends and my own mother for picking that match :P

Next week I challenge for the Cruiserweight title. I will try and make it my fourth title reign and i will priove once again why I am the best cruiserweight in Australia.

Thats all for this week,
Mason

Hello one and all,

hope you are all feeling much better than I am at the current time. Its been quite a cruisey week, been on holidays and been bumming around doing jack shit.

I went out Friday night with the boys and have ended up with this killer cold. I havent been ablke to shake it so I am feeling quite shitful at the moment.

Oh, and last night I took an absolute shit kicking. THe match was between myself and Seoul, the 3rd match in our best of five series. It was a last man standing match. To say this was the stiffest match Ive had wouldnt be an exhageration. I am sitting here with a bruised up left side of my face and a sore as shit neck. I have parts of my bottom front teeth chipped. I also have a headache. Good times. THe match itself saw both of us hit a combined 5 wrestling moves. People are calling it match of the night which is quite an honour considering Will Phoenix, John E Radic, Cruz and Checkers all wrestled on the show.

I lead 2-1 and next week will be a tag team tables, ladders and chairs match between Myself and Sweet Ass aginst Seoul and Cruz.

I really have jack shit to say this week, maybe cause I feel so shit.

Anyways,
rock out
Mason

How is everyone?

My god it has been a crazy as hell kinda week. I had my bags lost at Sydney airport so I guess Im lucky Im not in a Bali jail. They did deliver them to my house midday the next day which I guess is ok.

I partied 3 straight nights when I got back, it was an awesome time. I thank everyone for coming to my Australia Day party, I had a great time and Im glad we could all hang out.

Saturday's show was alot of fun. We drew over 200 fans which was awesome. I had match #2 against Seoul which was a submission match. I worked his arm for the most part but was able to attack his back with some backbreakers, like the pumphandle backbreaker, half nelson backbreaker and a cradle backbreaker. Just when Seoul thought he had me beat with an ankle lock, and I knew any longer he would've had me beat, I had to quickly turn the hold into an arm and back lock that he couldn't escape from, that being my Last Temptation submission. So now I have a 2-0 lead. I am one win away from a clean sweep. Yes, its true, I am a wrestling god. Next week a last man standing match? Bitch, Ima knock you out! Not only that, my metro mate from Sydney Will Phoenix will be up for this week's show, he is amazing.

Now, onto something not so fun. I almost dont even wanna cover it because they dont deserve any press or coverage whatsoever. Im talking about The Briggs Brothers. You cowardice fucks. Hiding behind fake names taking cheap shot after cheap shot at me. I'll tell you guys what, I'll keep having the best match of every show I wrestle on and you guys continue to be squashed by Birdman Picasso. Deal? Good. Also good luck with your fed that will go nowhere, thats if you even have a first show. That's all I will say on this group of ragtag misfits.

Anyways, holidays this week. It will be hard sitting around watching a tonne of wrestling lol. I will be checking out some UWF-I and UWF to see some worked shoot style. For those who come to the show this saturday, expect something violent.

Take care,
Mason

Hello everyone.

I am writing from Auckland as we speak.

I have had a fabulous time while over here.

I landed at 6pm NZ time (3pm Qld time) on Friday. I got a tad tanked on bacardi and cokes in business class the entire way, fell asleep and woke up hung over. The hostess was French and was hot in a MILFy kinda way. I spent the first night hanging out with HAV and former IPW wrestler Darkside. We watched Crow 3 and it sucked.

The time difference has thrown me off hard this trip.

My match Saturday was a re-match against Lyte Playa. While it was a great match, to me it had nothing on our Rival Turf match. We got the crowd going well and the NZ fans enjoyed my work so I am happy.

I have also had some odd food experiences:
*A steak bar (like beef jerky but in a bar form)
*Chicken at Wendys
*A 1l Coke and saw 1.5 and 2.25 l cokes
*Burger Fuel (which is kinda like Big Chief's but better)

I have also completed 2 short term life goals which I cant speak of on here.

Hope you all are doing well.

Someone update me on what happened with MIW saturday? Heard my boy Sweet Ass got 1 up in his best of five. SHOT!

Stay cool people and Australia Day party at mine on Australia day too, for those who know my place and who would actually be invited.

Mason Childs

Hello one and all,

it seems like ages since I have updated this but alas, it is being updated.

Hope you've all had an ace new years.

Last week we went to the IWA show at Seagulls. The show itself wasnt too great but I di get to catch up with Kasey Jackson and Angeleeka which is always great. Both those kids are top people and two people I need to catch up with more often.

Last night was the first show of MIW's year and boy was it a big one for yours truely. I have found myself in a best of five series with Seoul. To me this kid has always had the potential to be one of our best cruiserweights. Last night was the first of our five matches. It was a straight match and we gave our all. To have that as my first match of the year is setting myself quite a standard to follow. We dida bit of everything. We brawled. We took it to the outside. We kicked. We Chopped. We stretched each other. We flew offthe top rope. In the end I was able to hit the Death From Above and a Millenium driver to score the win in one of the longest and most physically intesne matches I have ever had. This best of five will be a tough series but I think we will pull out an incredible series of matches.

Next week I am off to New Zealand to wrestle for IPW. I have a fair idea who I am wrestling but until it is official I must keep my mouth shut.

Short update but I may ad more later as I think of it.

How good was my red hat mick shirt last night?
2005, The Year That Was

I sit here, woken up early by the hot sun and I decided I would venture online to see what the online world had to offer me. I came across a friend's journal and he talked about his year. This being so close to new years and the fact i probably won't be online much at my new house, I have decided to do my New Years update now.

The year started out slow but fun, I was dedicated souly to wrestling and work. I think I ended up going out about 3 times in 2 months there, did absolutely fuck all on New Years Eve (hung out with then one of my two best friends Trash and his lovely fiancee Cassie. My first match of the year was WCWA/MIW's first match of the year against its most established star, Cruz. I was so nervous this day. Firstly, we wrestled out in Warwick and it was close to 40 degrees in that building. Secondly, I had never wrestled Cruz before and had no idea what to expect. We went out there and had a very good match. I was pleased that I had the opportunity to be in the ring with one of Australia's best wrestlers. January at the time, seemed like a full on month of wrestling, doing 4 shows in the one month, how quickly that became a common place in my life. The shows that followed that were called Best Of the Best. They were 2 tournament, a heavyweight and a cruiserweight, held over 2 weeks. I was the current miw crusierweight champ and had had a decent 6 month run with the belt. I dropped it to Ashe in a three way that went well. Ashe is one of my fave 2 current cruiserweights to wrestle and is half the reason I miss not being a cruiserweight anymore. He has also been a constant in the MIW locker room, which has helped me mentally alot when I have needed it. January also saw me make my singles debut in UWA against Bishop Somers in the first ever UWA Elite Title Match. This wasn't a common style match for me, but damn it was fun. I wrestled so very basic and people considered it a show stealing effort on a card that featured Scarecrow vs Lobo in a Fall Count Anywhere match and Kasey Jackson vs Warlock. Jan also saw me have the infamous 'How's your back match' against Sorrow. This was also the first time I got to meet a man who has become a good friend of mine and someone I would end up hanging out with quite a bit throughout the year, Nick.

Februray saw me have, to me, what was probably the worst match of my career, which was a count out loss to Checkers. I was quite upset after this match and the whole vibe in the locker room after the show was one I have never been around before or since. One of my two best friends I've ever had, Mick, cheered me up when he took me to Hooters. This would turn out to be quite a learning experience for me in life, as it was the night I met 'Starr'. She was walkign round doing the usual 'What do you do?' 'How was your night?' when I explained how horrid my night had been and how Id just wrestled the worst match of my life. Her face lit up as she knew a few MIW wrestlers before they had started training. This got us talking and I ended up waiting till 6am to get her number so she could come along to a show and check it out. That show was Redbank, which wrestling-wise was a huge night for me. It saw me defeat Obie to become #1 contender to Trash's South Pacific title and also saw me cost BJ Blade his match against a man I became good friends with, Irish lad Man Man Manson. I also turned on BJ, splitting Team Dragon. Two weeks later, I had the chance to wrestle a good road buddy and one of my best friends in wrestling, Trash. We quite a good match and it is one I will always remember. I think that month I also wrestled Sorrow in what would be his last win before leaving MIW.

Smarch came along with its damn smarch weather and it brought about the second and last Redbank show we ever did. This show was my chance to catch up with IPW wrestler Jon E King, as he faced Cruz for the vacant MIW title. This show also saw me face a man who had been a mentor to me from my very first match against him, BJ Blade. It was a great match and the match i still consider my second best match of 2005. My toenail has finally grown back from when he squashed it and broke it off. I miss you BJ, come back to MIW soon! The end of March saw my personal life get ganso bombed, but trying to be professional as I could, I didnt let it affect my wrestling. You people know who Im refering to!

April saw me have all four of my wisdom teeth out while being awake for it and choking on my own blood. This was also the first time Starr decided the morning of a show to no show on me so she could stay home and fuck my room mate while I was out. Top lass that one. I wrestled Saxxon and Nick XL, two guys who I had varying results against over the year. April also saw Trash leave MIW and Mick make his MIW reffing debut.I also entered a losing streak, which was fun, not.

May saw me enter a hard hitting match against Nick XL. This night was like catching lightning in a bottle for me. I knew I could have a good match with Nick, but I only ever did it the once. I had a good cruiserweight title match against Saxxon the next week, with some good nearfalls in the finish. I also got to wrestle Cruz again, this time in the first round of yhe MIW King Of the Ring Tournament, which Obie ended up winning with broken ribs. Obie has had quite a good year, he has really stepped up and become one of MIW's best.

June saw me wrestle a great match against Sweet Ass with dog head Mick as ref. It was the first time I had ever been knocked out in a match, even if it was only for a couple of seconds. I also had the chance that month to wrestle Jackaroo in a submission match, who is a gem of a bloke and someone Im glad who has stuck around MIW. June also was the month I made up for my Warwick match and had a blinder against Checkers.

July saw me face a man who I have grown to be quite good friends with, Seoul. Many are calling him my cruiserweight heir and I hope this isn't true. I hope he totally eclipses everything I have done in MIW and becomes known as the better and more improved Mason Childs. Crazy scray fact of the day, myself and Seoul have the exact same birthday, day month and year. I am 1 hour older than him. Yet light years sexier. July also saw me enter the war between Wone Enterprises and Carnival Of Darkness. The Lone Wolf and His Woman destroyed the ranks of both groups, splitting one group up, and leaving the other in ruins. July was the month I chopped Synodic so hard and so many times that after our match he spewed his guts up out the back. This was also my last match against Weird One, who was known as Mister WONE. An incredible front kick knocked him for six then an annaconda vice later, he was Bret Hartted, Montreal style baybee! I was one step closer to facing Saxxon. The last show of July once again saw me face Ashe. This match and post match happenings earnt a MOTYC from those who were there. This was the night Carnival kidnapped Starr. Didnt they pay big time for that one. This was the month where my once-best friend decided he would stop talking to me as he is completely and utterly pussy whipped. Karma has his number.

The first show of August saw me be given the cruiserweight title after Saxxon once again no showed for like the 6th straight week. I faced Synodic in a flogging of a match, where I finished him quick in 3 minutes with a shining wizard. I was also able to regain Starr from Carnival and were united once more. I also had another great match against Checkers, who is my other favourite cruiser to wrestle, in a match that saw us debut the Matrix Minute. It was around this time my brilliant room mate and his whore girlfriend kicked me out of my own house too. I wrestled Cruz in what was the best singles match between us in August, and another match fans were calling an Aussie MOTYC. August was also the month that saw me do somehting that hadnt been done since the glory days of aussie wrestling (I know its been done by a fair few guys recently but I was the first dammit!). I wrestled for 3 different companies, in 3 different states, 3 nights in a row on the one weekend. I wrestled in PWA against Cletus Blood infront of a full house of near 300 people, I flew back to Gold Coast to wrestle and beat Nick XL then I wa soff to West Sydney for UWA as Bishop Somers' dream tag partner against Scarecrow and Johnny Dundas in a match that built to their killer TLC match later in the year. August was also the month i set up two of my good friends, but unfortuneately that has fallen through :(

September saw me have a match that one friend of mine calls "The best squash match he's ever seen". That match was against poor unsuspecting Blunt. He busted his own head open by accident, then it all fell apart for him. Four cubrstomps later, Hawk had to call for the match to stop. It looked like a murder scene. This was also around the time I was going to be seeing Laura and which had me semi-banned from Minx, which led to me meeting a chick who I get along really great with now. Many have asked are me and Stace going out, short answer, no. September was also the month Daisy Doghead started working at Minx and the time my crazy slag ex wouldnt leave me alone before she flipped out and went to the loony bin. It was also the month where I vacated the cruiser title and Starr turned on me. It was also the month where I ended Nick XL's career as I am the big baby jesus of the backbreaker~!@ Starr leaving me = best blessing in disguise ever. Wish i'd pissed her off a long time before that. September was the month I wrestled AWF wrestler The Captain and when I formed a tag team with Shooter. September was also the month where a lady had a mild heart attack right infront of me before a show, which was crazy as hell. This was also the start of the one big show a month deal with MIW, which was Beach Riot. Myself and Shooter wrestled Obie and Cruz to determine the number one contenders to the tag titles. We ended up losing but it was another fine match which featured myself and the cruzer.

October continued to be a tag month, with myself and Shooter scoring wins over Skhorn/Kyote, Seth/H2O and was my first chance ot wrestle H2O. October was also the time we went to International Assault. What a kick ass time that was. I havent drunken that much and done as much as I had then for so long. It was great. I also had a fun No Rules match against Obie in October, where he jackhammered me through two chairs and a street sign. October was also the month I wrestled Teen Wofl from AWF in the infamous pants incident lol. That same night I missioned through all the indy stuff to go see Stace, which cost me $40 entry fee and missed her by 1 minute. I was shattered lol. The month ended on what was a somewhat of a low note, with Cruz breaking my nose in a three way dance in UWA, on their biggest show of the year too.

November saw me miss my fist show ever and saw my shows worked streak drop with the 1 blemish. When I returned, I tagged with Shooter again to face Jethro (subbbing for an injured Cruz) and Obie. We scored the win with our kick ass double team finisher the death roller. This was also the month that Trash turned his back on me for hating someone who did a cunt's act to me. He needs to deal with the issue, I wont hate him or even dislike him for his stance on the issue as to me the issue is gone and buried. When or if he wants to be friends again, he knows where to contact me and we'll sit down, chat and drink some booze and make up. November was also the month Eddie Guerrero passed away. This still shocks me to this day. RIP Eddie. November was also the month IPW faced MIW. A few of the IPW boys stayed at my place and we had a killer weekend. So much so I am coming over to NZ for five days to catch up with everyone and wrestle for IPW again, after almost 2 years. This was also the first time I had been dropped on my head by Davey Deluxeo with a half nelson suplex.

December saw the usual lurks and perks come to me, as it was my birthday. I had a decent couple of matches with H2O, I kicked out of the H2Over as well. My wrestling year ended on the biggest high I have had. Mason/Sweet Ass vs Cruz/Obie TLC match. It felt like Obie and I both rose to the occasion and had a killer showing. This was easily the best match of my career.

If I have missed anything, please forgive me. Feel free to add your yearly highlights on here as well.

Also, have a read of a column dedicated to my best friend in New Zealand, The One Vinny Dunn. http://impactprowrestling.co.nz/columns/commentators.curse/2005/2.html

Take care all, have a safe new years and see most of you later today,
Mason

Well, I was planning to write a big thing on a couple of people who fucked me over, so I could have my say and let it be it. But, after chatting to others who alreayd know what I was going to write, I was convinced it would be best for everyone if it was left. And in the end I think that's right. Its not my place to fuck with people's lives, even if mine has been fucked around by them. Let's call this last line the line in the sand. Its drawn and done. Will I ever be friends with either of them again? Nope. I stand my convictions but I wont let it plague those around me anymore.

Anyways, lets get onto something constructive and positive.

That being the reaction to my match on Saturday. As I said, to me it was my career performance, but i wondered what kind of reception it would've got from the fans. Here are some comments from The Sell.

"TLC = match of the year maybe? If not close. The crowd reaction after the match was a first I've seen at MIW, everyone on their feet chanting out Holy Shit and applauding Obie and Cruz as they left the ring victorious. Let's see... the VanDaminator by Cruz to Mason was brutal, as was the Double Stomps from the top of the ladder onto Obie by Mason too. There was a lot of action in this match. Mason's kendo stick shots to Obie's bare chest was insane. The ending, with Obie jackhammering Mason off the apron through a table and Cruz slashing Sweet Ass through a table was insane. Damn awesome match, props to those involved."

" MOTN and MOTY Obie/Cruz vs Mason/Sweet Ass, it was absolutley freaking awesome !!!"

"Last night was the final MIW show for the year. And without sounding to much like a fan boy, the TLC match - featuring Mason Childs and Sweet Ass against Cruz and Obie - was one of the best matches I have ever witnessed live, if not the best. Yes that includes anything from the IA tour. It was everything one would expect from a great match of its kind, and then some. The insane spots in the match, to the superb stiffness and crowd interaction, if this isn't the Australian Match of the Year, the winning match would have to be something very very special. You best all get your hands on a copy once it is released on DVD. Ending the night on a high was the return of Dallas, which was very nice to see. It has been a fabulous year for mind from MIW. The change to weekly shows has to me been quite successful for them, and I eagerly await for what 2006 brings to the company and its bunch of dedicated workers. Much love."

"thanks miw - great night on saturday - tlc was by far the best match of the night and the best i've seen from you guys. people say aussie wrestling is a crap and a bunch of wannabes - miw has proved time and time again that they are anything but that. i started coming to the shows in august and since then have never gone home unhappy from a show. the tlc match was just awesome - as was checkers winning the cw belt - but it seemed the match was quickly ended due to synodic's hand been sliced which is far enough. thanks again miw look forward to next year - anyone know when the next show is on?"

"Aside from that, an absolutely awesome show. I'll be buying the DVD. TLC match was one of the best matches I've ever seen and definitely the best match I've ever seen live.
If they ever make 'The Best Of 2005: MIW and IPW' this should be on there. In fact I like that idea. While we're at it MIW should get a deal with Briz 31.
Great crowd. Watching those few minutes between the first table spot and when Obie/Cruz went back to the dressing room was one of those times when you could sit back and simply say. "That's wrestling"."

"MOTN yeah, definitely has to go to Cruz & Obie vs Mason & Sweet Ass... Tables, Ladders and Chairs, oh my - you guys went hard, one of the best matches I've seen live also. Makes it all the better being so close up to the action!"

" The tlc was the best match i ve ever seen. Any1 who thinks low budget means the show will be crap is an idget."

Comments like this make going out there and doing what we did mean so much more than what it already does. I am glad people enjoyed our match and I hope to get the chance to do it again sometime in 2006. When I first started I never thought I'd make it in MIW. I was very skinny and thought Id be a cruiserweight till the day I quit. Many times in 2005 I've sat around thinking to myself "Why the fuck do I do this shit?" I never really had an answer that didn't seem to be a selfish ego rub. Like I said in my last entry, I am quite a fan of Eminem. And when I bought the Third Eminem CD The Eminem Show, I sat and listened to a song called Sing For The Moment. There was one part in it that really captured me:
"It's fucked up ain't it
How we can come from practically nothing to being able to have any fuckin'
thing that we wanted
That's why we sing for these kids, who don't have a thing
Except for a dream, and a fuckin' rap magazine
Who post pin-up pictures on their walls all day long
Idolize they favorite rappers and know all they songs
Or for anyone who's ever been through shit in their lives
Till they sit and they cry at night wishin' they'd die
Till they throw on a rap record and they sit, and they vibe
We're nothin' to you but we're the fuckin' shit in they eyes
That's why we seize the moment try to freeze it and own it, squeeze it and
hold it
Cause we consider these minutes golden
And maybe they'll admit it when we're gone
Just let our spirits live on, through our lyrics that you hear in our
songs"

To me, this pretty much epitomised alot of my teenage hood when I first moved to Brisbane. I had no friends, nothing besides wrestling. And, for me to give something back to something that has always been there for me. To give something to fans who love this odd sport as much as I have and still do. Its what makes me not want to take a week off. Not wanting to sit out when my back, neck, knees, broken nose, bruised chest or whatever is hurting so bad I dont even wanna show up. Like Hawk said on Saturday, without the fans, we're nothing.

So I guess in closing, this isn't the revenge I finally speak out about my side of the story expose like I planned, but a thank you to all those who have given a shit about what I do in the ring. Whether you've seen me wrestle for IPW, UWA, PWA or MIW, I thank you.

A wise old wrestler once said "Everytime we wrestle, we leave a piece of ourselves in that ring that we will never be able to get back. It may hurt us but it adds to our legacy." To me, on Saturday December 17, four men left alot of theirselves in that ring, but hopefully it will add to the great legacies already established by Cruz and Sweet Ass and help build the small ones myself and Obie have started.

In 2006 I shall continue the way I have been going and try to continue wrestling matches, that if I was the fan watching, I'd like to see.

Thank you once again and have a safe and merry christmas.
Mason Childs

Greetings one and all,

it certainly has been a week that I wont soon forget.

A few things are official. I am moving to Beenleigh on Xmas eve. I will also be in Auckland for IPW's first show of the year.

It was my birthday on Wedsnesday and I am now another year closer to death. I got a car cd player and the new Eminem cd as presents. I must say, I love that cd. I dont usually get into music anymore but there have been alot of songs on this cd I can relate to from one time in my life to another. One D12 song I can really relate to at the moment is How Come. It basically is how things have gone with a certain few friends and i will talk more on that later.

Friday night was a usual drink up with my number one soldier in the universe, Danger Baybee Gein. This guy is a gem.

Saturday rolled around and this time it signalled the end of our MIW year. This would be the biggest test in my career. After Saturday night, when someone asks me what is my best match, I can now say Me and Sweet Ass vs Cruz and Obie TLC. All four of us put everything on the line in what was an incredible experience in my career. Did I win? No. Did it matter by the end of the show? No. The first big move I took was a powerslam off the ring apron from Obie, who then followed it up with a big ass bodyslam on the outside. That move hurt like fuck. I am still in agony from it. I managed to come back on Obie with a chop, I went for a second and chopped the ring post, that was one of the stupider things Ive done. Cruz then nailed me with a Van Terminator. When I did come back, I nailed a kick ass cactus elbow on the floor. I then hit my piece de resistance, a double stomp off a ladder to the head of Obie. I did bust Obie open with a chair shot. I thought all was going good and set up a table. Obie ended up jackhammering me through the table off the ring apron to the floor. I was done. He somehow managed to get the belts and score the win. If you were there live to see this match, leave your thoughts, as Id like to know what others thought of it. To me it felt like I was wrestling at a true mainevent level, which is something I've never really felt out there before.

Id also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at MIW for an incredible year that has seen me go from a locally known cruiserweight to a nationally recognised wrestler. Id also like to thank UWA, PWA and IPW and will be back for all three in 2006.

I am extremely tired from having 4 hours sleep Saturday, then working 14 hours all day Sunday.

Mid week some time I will write a piece here to finally bury something of this year and leave it in the past. You will get the truth from me, because I have no reason to lie here at all.

Take care one and all
Mason Childs

Best Birthday Present Ever!

Hello once again to another not-so-thrilling installment in the life of Mason Childs.

Hope you've all had a good week.

Mine was better than I expected.

Work was absolutely boring as shit. I dont think Ive ever sweated as much as I did this week. The heat was a killer.

I got a gift voucher for JB HiFi for my birthday and bought #4 and #5 in the Lone Wolf and Cub series. These moves absolutely rock. I shall do a write up on them sometime in the future. Not sure if I will put them up on pro wrestling oz or here, see what kind of mood Im in, besides a sassy mood.

Friday saw me become the official referee for the King Of Scotch showdown between Mick and Danger. Danger got smoked. He did put up a good showing and was right in it until Mick did his patened mid drinking spew so he could keep going. To some, this was a dirty tactic, to others it was smart play. Also on this night, in honour of the neo-samurai turning 23 soon, I was bought a 3 on 1 lap dance. I had six boobies slapping me in the face, GOOD TIMES! I was also nude stacks on'd which was one of the greatest moments in my entire life.

Saturday rolled around like usual, even though it felt like an eternity since I'd been back at the building after a long ass week. Evil Enterprises had their own swank locker room. It was the bomb baybee. This week also saw me catch up with another IPW friend of mine, Jordan Invincible. I must say, Jordan is one of the nicest guys around, much like everyone else from IPW.

I must say last night, I looked hip to the square in my yakuza style all black suit and matching sunglasses.

We showed up like usual with none of EE booked in any matches. Jackaroo came out at the start of the night and booked Sweet Ass vs Cruz and Jase the Ace vs Jackaroo for the night. After Jase totally owned Jackaroo, I was in a fighting mood. So I thought, why not tag with Clayton Walker to take on any 2 men in MIW that Hawk could find. We ended up facing H2O and Seoul. Like last week, we had that half retarded fool Weird One refereeing our match. Biased little asshole he is. We isolated Seoul and worked his back over. I nailed my pumphandle backbreaker, my cobra clutch backbreaker and my half nelson backbreaker on him at various points of the match. I also did the most kick ass H2O gumby legdrop impression ever. He ended up getting the hot tag and cleaning house on us. H2O and Seoul nailed Walker with a superkick german suplex combo which gave me the opening to hit Seoul with a millenium driver. As I showed off my guns to the crowd, H2O nailed me with a H2Over for a 2 count! I am incredible! I was able to comeback and nail a desperation Final Fate. We were both knackered. I went for a lariat but H2O ducked and got a roll up for the 3. I still blame Weird One's shonky refereeing job for our loss.

Sweet Ass beat Cruz in what was a crazy brawl that went everywhere around the building. After the match, Cruz and Obie challenged myself and Sweet Ass to a TLC match next week for the MIW Tag Titles. This should be a good way to end the year.

Anyways, on Wednesday I will be a year closer to death. 23 is old. Im old.

Have a good week and remember to rock out with your cock out
Mason

....Watch Your Mouth.

Hope everyone's week has been good.

How insane has the weather been recently? I was hoping to be flooded in Wednesday so I wouldn't have to go to work but no such luck there.

I basically did the usual throughout the week. I did take Jon E King out in the city before he flew back on Friday morning, he seemed to have a good time. I am the host who can boast the most baybee! I think the guys from IPW could possibly be the coolest wrestlers I have met in any fed I've worked for. Hanging out with them reminded me of my early days in WCWA/MIW hanging out with guys like Phez, Trash, BJ Blade and many more who have since moved on from the group.

We managed to find Australia's version of Dusty Rhodes! She works at Hooters in the city.

Saturday finally came around after what seemed an eternity of a week and it saw the end of The Shoot Style Superstars. I have now joined Sweet Ass in his new Evil Enterprises faction. We will rise to the top and destroy MIW.

Last night I faced current double champion, H2O in the show's mainevent. This was quite a good match until half-wit referee Weird One, MIW Owner Hawk and Harley Seth all stuck their noses into business that didn't involve them. We went close to 20 minutes when H2O nailed me with a frogsplash off the top to score win. I was robbed. I am the centre piece of Evil Enterprises and I should be shown the respect I deserve. It was great to finally see the man who was the first ever person I met in WCWA/MIW turn on Cruz, that man was Jase The Ace. For those who don't know, I am half kiwi and it is great to be associated with two stand up men like Sweet Ass and Jase The Ace. Speaking of NZ, it is the first on my list of places to travel to and wrestle for next year. Hope January is a nice time of year in Auckland.

Now, I dont throw out idle threats so Im going to say this once. If you're a fan, boo the heels. Boo me. Yell abuse at me. Whatever. But, if I hear anyone making comments about my personal life when Im in the ring, expect a very nasty reaction after the show. My personal life is mine and I wont have people who know only what they read of it on here talking about it. Alot of you Sell people are going from regular fan abuse to crossing the line and showing no respect for those who are in the ring killing themselves for your amusement. After hearing some of the stuff you people were saying to the kiwi boys when they were over last weekend, it was quite embarassing to think we have such asinine idiots follow our company. Take these comments however you like but that is my thoughts on it all and if I hear any personal comments towards myself again I wont be impressed.

A thread on the forums caught my eye and I thought Id reply to it here. It was a "Who do you want to see in an Aussie Dream Match" style thread. I haven't really seen enough to make a list of dream matches Id like to see but I will list the ten people around New Zealand and Australia I'd like to wrestle, hopefully many will happen in the new year:

*Ryan Eagles. Everything I've seen of this guy has been solid. A good fella backstage and really loves the business, as is evident by his scheduleof working Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney all regularly.

*Heartless Alfred Valentine. Current IPW champ and easily the most technically sound wrestler in New Zealand.

*Justin Cross. Haven't seen too much of this guy, but what I have has impressed the hell out of me. Would love to wrestle him.

*Scarecrow. I was meant to wrestle him back in August but the match turned into a dream partners tag match. The short time I was in the ring with Scarecrow was brilliant. He was so easy to work with. Would love a one on one match with him.

*Jon E King. This is one man who can go when he is on. Any man that wrestles in a lights out light tube death match earns my respect.

*Stephen James. Ever since I saw footage of him wrestle as Fuel in PCW, I have wanted to wrestle this man. Incredible athlete and someone I wished I'd talked to more when I was down in Melbourne in August.

*Slexx. I've only heard great things about this guy and all the matches I have seen him in have been excellent stuff.

*Dal Knox. Knox impressed the hell out of me when he was over here for the IPW vs MIW shows, would love to face him one on one.

*Will Phoenix. Considered one of Australia's best and with good reason. Id jump at any opportunity to wrestle Will.

*Steve Frost. Would I get killed by chops? Id say so. Would I throw them back as hard as I could. Damn straight. Steve is easily the best power wrestler in Australia today and I'd only get better for wrestling him.

That's the 10 as it stands now. There are heaps of people I'd love to wrestle all around Australia and New Zealand and Im sure I've forgotten someone somewhere in there.

Have a good week
Mason Childs

Hello...... is everybody good?

I cant believe it is Monday already, where has my week gone?

For the most of the working week, I was at work believe it or not, doing a working on energised overhead condutors course. Being in the air for hours straight sucks, but hey, its a living.

Hit the town Thursday night and had quite the big one. I wasn't an absolute mess but on the Bona Scale (Bona was an old mate of mine who used to get written off completely every week really harshly) I'd say I was a 7.8 Bonsey. This made for an interesting next morning when I had to go pick up a few of the IPW boys who were over for the weekend and a double shot weekend of wrestling. All the boys who came over were great and meeting Dal Knox and Vinny Dunn was especially cool, two of the nicest blokes I have met in local wrestling.

Saturday's show, from what I saw and heard, was one of MIW's and Australian Wrestling's best shows in 2005. Almost every match was great and both NZ and Aussie sides were giving 120% from start to finish. I faced a good friend of mine from New Zealand (good enough to give him the IPW Title I won back in August 2004) in the form of Davey Deluxeo. Much like my match earlier this year with Bishop Somers, I measured up very similiar to Davey. Height wise, look wise and size wise, we were fairly similiar. The match started off with Davey catching me off guard. He took the fight to me but I managed to come back with a nice shining wizard. I nailed my usual big moves including the curb stomps, the boot scrapes, the super slut combo, death from above and the baseball slide dropkick to the outside. I went for the Millenium Driver, but Davey managed to escape it and nail me with a half nelson suplex. I landed on my head and my neck is still stiff today. To finish me off, Dave nailed me with a move he has dubbed called The Goth Killer, which is a variation of the Snow Plow, a side michinoku driver head drop. I was done.

Sunday's show saw us return to Wynnum, where I wasn't on Team Australia but I was tagging with Shooter against Skhorn and Kyote. I tried to show off why I am the best power house in Australian Wrestling today but Kyote got the better of me at the start of the match. I still have huge bruises from being chopped to hell by Kyote and Skhorn. We managed to get the advantage back in the match by using double team moves on Skhorn and ended up scoring the win after I nailed a shining wizard and Shooter nailed a running knee strike to the head of Kyote for the 3 count. It was quite good to score the win infront of alot of family and friends who previously hadn't seen me wrestle live. One moment that stuck out before my match was when three of my friends went up the wrong flight of stairs to the show and ended up at the back of the dressing rooms. Watching every MIW and IPW perve's jaws drop when they walked in was funny as hell. It was good to catch up with interstate and international girls Sarah and Ang as always and was nice to get my black beater singlet back after leaving it in Sydney soaked with blood and melted ice.

One of the greatest weekends of this year for me came to an end as it began, in a drunken stupour. Thanks to everyone who came to the shows.

I will defineately be back in Auckland next year, it is now on my To Do list of places to go back and wrestle for.

New saying of the weekend: Dog Head.

The following people are dog heads:
Danger
Smellymatt
Flashole
Red Hat Mick Brasco

That is all for now. To be added to the dog head list, just do something dog headish.

That is also all for this week. Check out next week, if I can be bothered. I really struggled to motivate myself to write this out, but alas I did.

Take Care
Mason Childs

RIP Eddie Guerrero

Hello one and all,

what a week it has been.

As everyone knows by now, Eddie Guerrero passed away Monday morning our time of heart failure. At first I wasn't terribly phased by it to be honest. I felt bad for him dying so young but it didn't really hit me till this morning when I watched part of Smackdown for the first time in ages and saw the tribute video WWE did for him. All I can really think of to say is he will be greatly missed by every wrestling fan in the world and should be remembered as a man who helped smaller sized guys break through the wrestling 'big man' stigma. He had so many classic matches that his legacy will not be forgotten any time soon.

On Tuesday I went with a few workmates to Southbank to join the protests against the new Industrial Relations laws being brought in. I feel everyone should be opposed to these laws as they will inevitably cripple our country. I got to march and chant, I felt like such a union man.

This week as work I started a working live course. It is kind of unnerving being 10 meters in the air knowing if you touch the wrong thing at the wrong time you could die, but I did end up getting comfortable with it all in the end.

Friday night was an absolute blast. Not only did I get to hang out with my two boys, I got to catch up with old work mate I hadn't seen in nearly two years. Got absolutely smashed as always.

Saturday could've been alot better, and will be my excuse for not having a superb match. I woke up around 8am and no-one would give me a lift home or pick me up from Chapel Hill. So I ended up walking 40 minutes from Mick's house to the shopping centre, caught a bus to The City, walked to the train station and caught a bus for an hour to Cleveland (and somehow I ended up in the only un-air conditioned part of the train). By this time it was just after 11am and I had a 90 minute walk ahead of me. I got absolutely roasted in the sun and I still feel sick from it. My shoulders, back, neck and arms all got fried. When I finally got home, I got about an hour's sleep then lounged around waiting till I had to pick up Teen Wolf at 6.30 from Brisbane Airport and race down to Southport. Now, I'm not saying I broke the law whatsoever on the trip, but I am proud we made it to the venue in 40 minutes in a trip that is usually around an hour. So we were at the venue at 7.30 and the show started at 8. I found out I was wrestling good ol' Jethro, a man who I consider MIW's version of Sting. The match went very well at the start and I think it was a great match until the finish. Alot better than our first singles match but last week's tag was alot better than last night's match. All in all, I was sore, feeling sick, was ghastly tired but at least my nose didn't get hit.

Nose Update Time. It is healing, but it is hard to breathe out of my left nostril. I tried to buy some sort of face protector but both sports stores and medical stores looked at me as if I made it up. One chemist told me if I keep breaking it I won't be able to breathe out of it at all. So yeah, good times for all!

In a week that has its ups and downs, Im glad its done and we can all focus on one thing, Team Australia vs Team New Zealand and the first Wynnum show in 18 months! Apparently all the Childs clan will be there, so here's to hoping I dont fuck up extremely badly!

God bless Danger for his giving ways last night too.

Waking up at 4.45am sucks, it really really sucks. I refuse to wake up that early on a Sunday morning ever again.

Stay True To The Game One And All,
Mason Childs

Ok, let's start on a bit of a rude note.

If you don't like what I write, don't fuckin read it. If you don't like what I say, don't fuckin listen. And if you don't like what I do, don't fuckin look.

I know there's some heat with me on The Sell but as chance would have it, when I go to check it, it's not working. So what can ya do?

I can't really comment on what I am unable to read, but when I do I will.

I will put this statement out there though, if you're going off one half of a story and judging me by it, mind your own fucking business. I've fought my battles on my own and people have made their own conclusions on it all.

When people ask me an opinion on a topic, I answer it honestly. I dont feel I owe anyone shit and adversly, feel no one owes me anything.

Its 11am Sunday morning and my head feels like it has been kicked into a brick wall.

Last night, The Shoot Style Superstars were meant to face Cruz and Obie, current MIW Tag Team Champs, but Cruz was unable to wrestle due to a knee injury. So after some mixing and matching, Jethro stepped into the match. Its still good to see I am beloved by all the fans in Southport, as we recieved one of the rudest receptions we have ever recieved. After Jethro and Obie got the better of me at the start, S4 took over and worked our double team stuff to its best. We nailed Obie with our tribute to The Demolition, a backbreaker second rope double stomp combo. We then nailed our ode to the road warriors powerbomb top rope knee strike combo and had Obie dazed and confused after a double bootscrape. Jethro managed to get back into the match but the end was near after a miscommunication between him and Obie. S4 came back with our absolutely marvelous Death Roller combo and Obie was done. As a team we get better in every match IMO. We are becoming more fluent together and knowing what each other is doing more and more. Last night also saw the return of my fabulous combo, the Super Slut Combo. We are now one step closer to taking a rightful place as MIW Tag Team Champions. If anyone feels they can stop us, try.

Life is open to interpretation, so feel free to analyse what I have written in anyway that makes you feel secure with yourselves.

When I read the sell, when it starts fuckin working properly, I will probably reply to what's written on there here.

Mason Childs

A Week That Was And A Rant To Boot

Hello one and all,

hope you've all had a good week. If you betted on the Melbourne Cup, hope you lost your money ha ha!

Due to the nose injury, I thought Id take my first week off ever from wrestling. Yes, my conistency streak is over but I still think I have one of the highest match counts in Australia this year. I got lucky with the break, as it didn't go out of shape much so I didn't want to tempt fate, go in the ring and have my nsoe smeared across my face.

Personal life has been great recently, >--< this close to a new missus, w00~!

Even though I wasn't in a match on last night's show, I still went down to the show to catch up with everyone and check out some of the action.

My boy Shooter faced the hear and soul of MIW himself, Cruz. I came out to ringside and got some retribution for what happened in UWA. This is not over between The Shoot Style Superstars and Cruz and Obie. Eventually you two are going to have to face us for those tag titles. We beat the double crown champ and the no rules champ. All roads lead to us boys.

Now, it's time for me to have a rant about a rather delicate topic, Backyard Wrestling.

There are those around the Brisbane area who do it. My feeling is this, if you wanna do it for a bit of fun now and then, so be it. But if for some reason you think you are properly trained and are going around teaching kids incorrectly, you're below scum. You yourself have no idea what you're doing, so what makes you qualified to teach someone else how to do something you can't do yourself?

I'm not the type to generalise but the majority of backyarders are young, and by young I'm talking under the or around the ages of 15. The human body at this point usually is still growing and can get damaged very easily if you develop bad habits and continually wrestle wrong. Can I say I haven't done backyard wrestling, no I can't but I think everyone at some point does. I may have done backyarding for a short time, but as soon as I had the chance to learn properly I jumped at the opportunity, and it has been the best thing I have ever done. I corrected bad habits and have learnt so much from the MIW Sweat Shop. The fact I can get a match in most of the top feds on the East Coast by my name alone to me says I have learnt properly and could safely have a match with anyone in this country. I've had one injury since I started training with MIW (then WCWA) in three years, when I did backyard crap for 3 months I had about 4 decent injuries, one was a fairly big one.

I can understand wrestling training isn't cheap, but there are altenatives you can do until you are ready or can afford to wrestle. One that I would promote strongly is some form of martial arts training. Find a style you enjoy. It will benefit you in the ring. Myself, Cruz, Obie, Shooter, Harley Seth, Sweet Ass and Seoul among others in MIW have all studied some form of martial arts (my time has been alot shorter compared to all the others) and it has helped us so much in the ring. It will keep you fit, help you become disciplined and also teach you fighting awareness.

Backyarders aren't respected by anyone besides other backyarders and aren't looked upon favourably.

That's my take on it, I hope some who read this will take what I say into mind. I've made the mistakes, learn from my mistakes, don't make the same mistakes yourself.

On a better note, you can download my match from PWA against Cletus Blood from Pro Wrestling Oz. The link is http://prowrestlingoz.com/videos2.html

Thanks for reading and I will see you all ringside Saturday.

The Road Is Long.... And Ever Is Winding

Hello everyone,

Hope you've all had an ace week.

It seems like an eternity since I have sat down and had the chance to write here, but I finally do.

This week saw me finish up my last part of my last ever TAFE that I had to do for work. I passed everything and it is finally behind me lol.

Wednesday was a fun night for me, went on a date with a hottie, fingers crossed that that one goes somewhere.

Friday night involved the usual drinkathon at the usual traps and I came out the loser.

Saturday was Halloween Horror for MIW down at Southport and it was quite the good show. Myself and Shooter tagged to take on MIW No Rules Champion Harley Seth and Current MIW Double Crown Champion H2O. We not only proved we can go the distance with any champ in MIW, we proved we can beat any champ in MIW. We played it smart and isolated H2O and worked him over with double team moves, including the double kick, double boot scrapes, the powerbomb top rope knee strike combo and finished things off the the death from above high roller combo. I was quite happy with how things went Saturday.

Sunday saw the day start very early. We were up at 5am to catch a 6am flight from Coolangatta to Sydney for UWA Hallowikid. I faced off against MIW mainstay Cruz and South Australian star Havok. The match went well, I got to hit alot of my big moves. Havok and I worked over Cruz until I thought I saw an opening to beat Havok. The match became chaos and in the heat of things Cruz broke my nose with a wild elbow strike. The end soon came as Havok finished me off with a sitout rock bottom slam. I bled like a tap afterwards. I still have heaps of bruising across my nose but luckily no black eyes. Luckily my nose isn't terribly out of shape. I may miss a week or two of action as a result but I promise I will be back well in time to try and be part of Team Australia against the IPW boys.

It was great Sunday to catch up with all the UWA boys, Steve Frost and Champayne Pyro of PWA and the host of others at the show. I enjoyed my time in Sydney as always and even a broken nose couldn't ruin another great experience.

That's all for this week.

Mason

Justice For All In One Evening

Welcome once more to a thrilling installment that was a week in my life.

Work was more Tafe and it saw me nearly go insane. I haven't been able to train wrestling wise for nearly a month and Im getting really sick of it. I usually train Tuesdays but the last two Tuesdays I've spent 11 hour days at Tafe doing retests or studying.

For the first time in quite some time, I had a Friday at home. No drinking. No groping. No anarchy. Just a quiet one to catch up on some sleep. After half a day of dealing with car salesman I'd had enough of the world. I do have a new car though, w00~!

Saturday's event rolled around and it lived up to the hype, in my opinion.

My match was against a man I'd wanted to wrestle for quite some time, Teen Wolf from AWF.

At the time, I thought the match fell at the waist, much like Wolf's broken pants did, but now in hindsight I think it was a great match. I don't think I've had a crowd that against me since I wrestled Sweet Ass. I was telling the crowd they had to cheer for me because I was the local boy and that's the rules. They seemed to boo me more after that. To those who sore the match, one thing that will stand out to you would be the level of the strikes, and damn, both of us were feeling it this morning. I'd have to say, last night was probably the best I've ever utilised my back breakers. One highlight for me was easily when resident fat loud mouth sell-wank Mick took the language a bit too far and I shot him down infront of everyone saying 'Have some manners you fat piece of shit'. Glorious times came as I hit the Death From Above stomp and finished the match off with the Millenium Driver.

I was also the first person to meet Toadie, because I am a huge celebrity.

To follow up on last week's column, Starr got the crap chopped out of her stomach.

Last night, looking into the crowd, I saw a ghost from the past again, BJ Blade. All I have to say to you is find your smile, get back into shape and get your ass back in the ring cause I wish to beat the shit out of you once more. You once hung out with the best, me, now you sit in the crowd like common scum with the sell fools.

That is all for this week, take care and hopefully next week produces something a bit more exciting for me to write about.

Manson Chilli

Hello Folks and welcome to another thrilling installment in my journal.

I hope you've all had swanky weeks.

Mine was a tad up and down, a few smiles and a few frowns.

Being at Tafe for work has been the pits. Its the worst of the worst. I think I failed my test on Friday. Ah well. Resits = ratings in a way.

How bloody fabulous of a Friday night did I have though. I enjoyed the pants off it. Besides the bogan who kept calling me flash pants.

Anyhoo, Saturday rolled along again like it always seems to and this week our show was completely no rules. Anything went. And I was faced with a man I hadn't faced in quite some time yet knew like the back of my hand, Obie.

I've seen Obie go from a rookie to a legit star in MIW. And it was an honour to wrestle you once again. The match itself started out with us going to the mat. I went after Obie's arm and even busted out a new combo I had been working on, two armbreakers into a judo arm takedown into a swinging grounded armbar. Obie got the first advantage in the match which saw him spin kick me fair in the face. I was able to come back and nail two big clotheslines in the corner and the good ol boot scrapes. Since the match was no rules, I brought two chairs out with me. I set Obie up over one chair and nailed a top rope double stomp to his neck. This led to me giving Obie two curb stomps, the second with a chair under Obie's face. Obie was able to comeback from all that though and set up two chairs with a sign across them. He first went for his jackhammer that I was able to reverse into a small package for two. I ducked an Obie clothesline and was able to get him up for a millenium driver. I went for the move but Obie landed on his feet and gave me a jackhammer through the set up to score the win. I congratulate you Obie, you have come along way and we are now 2 wins a piece against each other. Comparison to each other is something we will never escape until one of us leaves this game. My classics with Trash, BJ Blade, Sweet Ass and Cruz will always be compared to your classics with Trash, BJ Blade, Sweet Ass and Cruz. Our success post Team Dragon will always be compared. So I wish you best of luck at Halloween with your tag title match against Skhorn and Kyote, cause if Shooter is physically able we will be coming for your belts. You can't avoid us. Every road you travel down will lead you to Shoot Town baybee.

Speaking of those heading for Shoot Town, H2O. Last night Shooter beat the current South Pacific champion in a non-title match but he paid a price. H2O injured Shooter's chest. I am still not 100% sure what was wrong with Shooter but backstage he wasn't in good shape. My best wishes go out to you Shooter and a speedy recovery is the least that can be expected from a modern day warrior like yourself. As for you H2Omo, if you wanna play the injury game, the career ending game, I seem to be a good 3-0 at it. Sorrow walks like a cripple because of me. Davey Boy's shoulder still isn't right after a year and Nick XL not only needs back surgery, he has lost almost 30kgs because he left the need to challenge the Big Baby Jesus of the backbreaker. You've stirred the hornet's nest now we will take your title and your career all in one foul swoop.

Saturday also saw me catch up with my best friend I've ever had in the business, Trash. I always enjoy his company and I wish I could catch up with him more but my schedule as recent has been so hectic I hardly find time to scratch my own ass.

Next week sees everyone's favourite pole dancer Daisy have her first match in MIW against MIW Women's Champion Rebecca Tenly. Bec, if you read this, make sure you kick Starr square in the face and break her nose. I expect no less. The thought of Starr vs Lara Love makes the sadistic asshole in me quiver with joygasms.

Joygasms is now my new favourite word. Everyone start using it from here on in.

Bum Cheeks is also the word, so spread the word.

Also, after this week I can confirm I will be wrestling down in Sydney for UWA's Hallowikid. This was the show last year that I got my first chance to wrestle interstate wrestlers and I think it helped me get noticed, at least by UWA owners. This year though I will not only just be in the two ring rumble, but I will be in a singles match in some form. If the talk of who I am against is true, I will be bringing my A Game for the show.

I think that is all for this week.

Stay True To The Game And Sip The Pimp Juice As Regularly As Possible

Regards
Mason Chilli Childs

A Hot Night Leads To My Downfall

Hey everybody,

hope you've all had top notch weeks.

How bloody fabulous was International Assault? This was the first live show I had been to since WWE's Brisbane show and like that show, we had front row tickets. better than that though, these were dead front row, right behind ring announcer Dave Penzer. Good ol Mick gave Penzer and his middle aged stripper ring valet a head ache from all his screaming, which made my night. Before the show i got the chance to catch up with alot of people from around the place, a couple of AWF wrestlers, a few UWA wrestlers and the usual MIW wrestlers and Sell people. The Super Dragon chants in the opener were grand fun, as was singing 'Youre The Best' to Kazarian as he made his entrance. Singing The Milkshake song in nathan Jones general direction was a stroke of genius on my part I believe. All in all, it was a fabulous show and seeing the look of disappointment on Mick's face when Jarrett lost was glorious to say the least.

Myself, my travel and events co-ordinator and my personal appearances manager all flew back in and landed at 4.30pm Saturday which meant I was in an extreme rush from the time we got in.

Sydney had a nice temperature about it the whole time, unlike Brisbane which was stinking hot from the time we got back.

By the time I got to the building, I had about 25% of my voice so my show openeing promo probably sounded like I had throat cancer. But I got my point across, H2O is a green poo and I wanted a damn title shot, in the mainevent no less.

Remember how I said it was a stinking hot night in that bloody building? Well, as tradition has it, when I got overly dehydrated, my legs tend to cramp up, so I was keeping fluids up. I thought all was good, until I slid into the ring and both my calve muscles went hard as rocks. I was hobbling around trying to work it out before the match. I tried to stall as much as possible but I knew the show had to go on and I was going to have to work through it.

We had the crowd going from the start which was great. We pulled out some good stuff too. H2O went for his Stinger style water splash in the corner, which I blocked with one of the biggest superkicks Ive ever done. My two curbstomps this week were two of the best Ive ever given out. I was wrestling in what the fans have affectionately called 'The Battle Skirt' meaning I had no shirt on. I got so sweaty that when I was bumping I was sliding around the ring. The match ended after H2O got me with a frogsplash off the top.

Over the weekend I read the Dynamite Kid book and I must say, if you get the chance, read this book. It is quite a great story. A tale of a man who went from having it all to having nothing. A man who gave everything he had to the fans and in the end lost more than he bargained for. A man who always stood by his word, and to me, that is the mark of a truely great person. People who's word meaning absolutely nothing mean aboslutely nothing to me. This book also got me thinking of myself, the physical state I am in and how wrestling will effect me in the future. Also last night, Sweet Ass took a move wrong and landed on his head. Luckily he was ok, but it could've been very very worse. To you my friend, I wish you nothing but the best and a speedy recovery.

For those who werent at the show, Starr is now valeting for Sweet Ass. All I have to say on the Starr issue is this: I dont ask for much in wrestling and I will help out anyone, especially those I see potential in, and in Starr I saw potential, alot whole lot of potential. I went out of my way to help her. I made alot of personal sacrifices for the good of wrestling as I have always thought this is how it should be, try to be professional towards anyone and anything to do with wrestling. One thing that goes hand in hand with being professional is respect. I will say hi to everyone at a show, whether I know them or not and whether I like them or not. To me, if someone paid for me to fly to Melbourne so I could get exposure and experience, no matter what happened personally between us, I would have the decency to say hello to them. Everyone's favourite stripper doesn't seem to feel the same way. And last night, I was quite offended. For those who know me personally, you will know what I've been through this year courtesy of this girl. I lost alot. A whole fuckin lot, and to have some ungrateful slag be that rude and disrespectful to me just pisses me off to no end. Im sure she wont read this but Im sure alot of people will run to her and tell her, which is why I am writing it. Tell her. Let her know. Let her know I have no time for her whatsoever. Let her know her girlfriend's fate is sealed. Let her know she won't be working down in UWA or PWA again. I believe strongly in karma. What comes around goes around and maybe this is just bad karma for me. But adversely, this will be bad karma for her.

To all those I met and caught up with over this weekend, it was a pleasure and I had an absolute blast.

Also, I am in talks to come back down to Sydney for UWA again, so I shall kepp you all posted on how that goes.

And finally, remember to marinated the woopy stick in the bitch wrinkle and to baste the nether rod in the ham wallet.

Regards
Mason Motherfuckin Chilli Childs (Believe~!)

Hello and once again welcome to a new entry into the outlandish expose of a life that is Mason Childs, International Superstar.

What an unusually fucked week it was for so many. I think it was just one of those times where everyone had something shit happen to them. But it is times like these that make us thankful for all the good times we have.

This week's show rolled around and myself and Shooter had a huge task infront of us. We had the collosal miw tag team champions in a non-title match, Kyote and Skhorn. And to be quite honest I had no idea how to go about wrestling these two, as I had never wrestled anyone the size of these two before. And I think it showed in the opening parts of the match where I took one of the biggest beatings I have ever had. I got chopped in the face, slammed from 7ft in the air with a double suplex and had Kyote powerslam me and land right on my head.

We were able to isolate Skhorn and work him over. I gave him one of the best chop rushes I have ever been able to pull off. Kyote ended up getting the big tag and gave me his patened Howler Chokeslam which Shooter made the save from. Skhorn then gave me a killer dominator, which I landed hard on my knee and is all bruised and very hard to walk on, and Shooter once again made the save. We hit our fabulous finisher and claimed another win on our way to the top of tag team wrestling in Australia. And you know this man!

From here on in, I demand you all refer to myself and Shooter as The Shoot Style Superstars. Hell hath no fury if you don't.

I hate the term 'Neo-Faggot' and if you think it is witty, cool or even funny than you're a fuckhead and I will spit on your grave.

Only 5 days till International Assault~! w00~! Front row baybees and you best fuckin believe it. If any of you see me and haven't yet met me or I havent caught up with you in ages, you best say hello or I will cry.

Take care one and all and I will see you in a weeks time

Hugz Hunn XXOO
Mason "Chilli" Childs

Hello one and all,

this is my second attempt at writing this enrty as the first got bamboozled.

Id like to start by wishing all the best to Danger's mum who hasnt been well and yesterday had to go into hospital.

After a week of mental confusion I decided Friday night was a very good night for an old school binge drinking, and boy did I drink it up. I had a blast and a huge hangover so I guess all works out well for everyone.

All this lead to Saturday's show.

Before the show, I was heading to Australia Fair to get some dinner from Hungry Jack's. On my way back to the venue I saw an older lady trip over. It appeared she'd had a mild heart attack. Luckily for me 3 passers by stopped and helped. We called the ambulance and she was on her way well and fine.

Before the action got underway we did an autograph signing, which was met with alot of enthuisiam which suprised me. It was a good chance to meet some kids and people who would normally be too shy to come up and say hi. There was also one kid there with a 'Mason Childs Mark' sign and to my shock, it wasnt Flash!

The show finally got underway and it saw myself and the master of disaster, the king of sting Shooter take on spider man wanna be Cruz and his personality constipated buddy Obie in what was another tag match I am very proud of. I've only done like 3 tag matches this year and two of them have been in my personal top ten for this year. We got to nail our fabulous double team move, a powerbomb and top rope knee strike combo. In the end, the difference in the match was 2 move. 2. You guys had the better of luck last night but next time will be a different story altogether.

The mainevent of Beach Riot was none other than everyone's favourite rookie H2O against Sweet Ass. The crowd were right into this match, so myself and Shooter decided we'd ruin it. We attacked both men and nailed H2O with a combination Top rope double stomp and high roller. This led to a full scale riot involving members of the MIW roster and also led to many lame H2O fans pelting me with water and beer and random rubbish. I dont think they like me.

I guess that leads me to this very moment. I sit here on my computer, watching highlights of last night's match with a corked left leg and a right knee that I can barely walk on.

I hope thos who came to the show enjoyed themselves and hopefully next week you will get to see your to favourite shoot style superstars kicking some more ass tag team style.

Regards,
Mason Childs

Hello faithful readers and the nosey alike,

I hope your weeks have been good shizzle.

Firstly, big birthday wishes to Michael Jones (Trashy) for his birthday and for having a fun little party. Some highlights from that party would include getting mad drunk, singing Backstreet Boys over the phone, Mick ruining my best shirt and seeing old friends like Nate Newton and Jonny Caine again after quite some time.

Last night's show was quite a fabulous change, only one wanky greasy sell nerd in attendance.

On this show I faced AWF's own The Captain. I must admit, this kid can go. His punches were fierce and id rate them up there with the likes of Cruz and PWA's Logan for hardness. The match itself had a couple of flaws but otherwise was awesome. Captain was a confident guy who knew what he was doing in the ring and even nailed me with a german suplex, the first time Id ever taken the move before. The match was close and I was able to pull it out when it came to the crunch. The death from above double stomp and a millenium driver sealed Captain's fate.

Post match, Shooter came up to me and made me an offer I couldnt refuse. He asked me if Id like to form a tag team and make a run for the tag titles.

So next week at Beach Riot, myself and The Shooter will face the verbal dioareah spewing Cruz and the verbally constipated Obie for the number one contendership to the tag titles.

Myself and Shooter will be working our asses off in the Dojos around the place, coming up with new and devistating double team moves and combination moves.

I hope to see you all there next Saturday, as there will be alot of suprises instore. Schemes if you will. Bamboozlings will be a happenin!

Regards
'Money' Mason Childs

PS I GIVE IT A 10! A 10! A FUCKIN 10!

Hello once again my faithful Masonites,

Hope you all had a better week than I did.

Let's start with why my week sucked.

Firstly, I had some crazy ex ringing me in the middle of the night Tuesday while I was asleep. She managed to sms me 3 times and ring me 4 times within a ten minute period. Freak.

I thought I got stood up Thursday by a fabulously hot chick but I found out Friday why. So I am still in with a chance, w00~!

Speaking of Friday, we took a certain MIW referee to Club Minx and he loved it. I believe he could still have a grin on his face right now. I believe I have converted another follower.

This leads me to last night's show.

At the start of the show both Hawk and Jackaroo called me out and offered me a deal. Since I was slaughtering every cruiserweight they could find to challenge me, they had no more challengers for me. So, I could vacate the title and move up to the South Pacific division or keep the belt and never wrestle anyone. I want to further myself as a wrestler and proved I can hang with the bigger guys in matches with the likes of Sweet Ass, BJ Blade, Jethro, Cruz and Obie so I decided to forfeit the belt. This didn't sit too well with Starr. When we got backstage we had a bit of a yelling match.

Hawk put me in a match with Nick XL later on the show, and it was a street fight. I have had limited experience in these matches, which led to me being hiptossed over the ringside tables into the crowd. I was able to come back with a running elbow drop off the ring apron and one of the biggest kicks I've ever thrown right into Nick's chest. When I finally brought the match back into the ring, I had the match sealed with the move Jesus sheds a tear over, The Final Fate. I laid Nick's lame gold microphone over his face and was set to go to the top rope and end his night and hopefully his career, when Starr had a moment of humanity and stopped me from going to the top rope. I shoved her intio the corner so she decided to low blow me and cost me the match. Stupid bitch.

Starr, if this is your way of saying we're through and you find someone new, I will rip them apart. I end careers when Im in a good mood, imagine what I will do in a bad mood.I have fought for pride, I have fought for titles, I have fought for glory and I have fought for honour. I can't think of one moment in my career when I have fought for revenge or hatred besides the time Carnival kidnapped Starr and look what the result of that was. You have signed someone's death warrant.

For those who saw the match, you may have noticed I used H2Omosexual's running man legdrop. This was a complete diss at the wet one. I will continue to use one of his moves every match until I get my title shot. I will also continue to taunt your lame ass at every chance I have and will leave a trail of bodies along the way.

Tuesday night should be a fabulous night, as I will face my destiny again.

Stay true to the game and keep your pinky fingers in the air if you are a pimp,
Mason Childs

Let The Rivers Run With The Blood Of The Innocent

Hello one and all,

This update is on time and seems so recent compared to the last one.

I had the week off on holidays, just hanging out and have been training Starr a bit more at wrestling. She is getting very good and should be ready to debut very soon. The dragon style lotus.

Last night's show was jam packed, 12 matches in total. This was a night that saw H2O rise up and become a true star by beating Cruz for the south pacific title, Rebecca Tenley came into her own and beat Lara Love in a best of three series and Sweet Ass reclaimed the big belt and became the man once again.

There was one title that didn't change hands though.

My title.

A stupid little fool by the name of Blunt tried to take what I have, and he couldnt do it. He got an early advantage on me but somehow managed to bust his head open. As he went out of the ring to mouth off at the ever beautiful Starr, I capitalised and taught the young upstart a lesson, dont fuck with Mason Childs. I nailed him with a punphandle backbreaker, a death valley backbreaker and a 3/4 nelson backbreaker to soften him up. The end came after a Millenium Driver and four curb stomps when Hawk had to stop the match. I dont blame him, he is a hero in my mind, as I wouldve killed Blunt for his rudeness pre-match. He bled like a tap and I dont think my punches and kawada kicks helped him much hahahaha.

Let this be a proclaimation to all those in MIW, you try to take what I have and I will mess you up.

I fear no man and have no fear in destroying any man.

On the personal side of things, things are looking very promising :)

Hope you all have a great week,

Regards
Mason Childs
